Generally, occupational therapists need to complete a Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) and must also have an IELTS score of overall 7. University of Sydney currently requires HKDSE score of 20, IB Diploma score of 34.
La Trobe University offer a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours), which also requires an overall IELTS score of 7 in additional to secondary school scores. i.e. HKDSE score of 20, IB Diploma 28, GCE A Level score: 10.

Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) at the University of Queensland requires an overall IELTS Score 7 plus secondary scores of IB Diploma 38.25, GCE A Level score of 14, HKDSE score of 26
There is also the option of students doing an undergraduate degree and then completing a Masters of Speech and Language Pathology at Macquarie University particularly graduates in Bachelor of Psychology or Linguistics. Students may get credit for prior learning.
It is important to note that it is very important for accreditation to Australian Physiotherapy Council, Occupational Therapy Council of Australia and Speech Pathology Australia that practitioners have a bachelor’s or master’s degree, clinical practical experience and an up to date English IELTS score of overall 7 to become members whether practicing in Hong Kong or Australia.
